I'm currently living in Rochester, NY.

I cook but don't clean, I craft but don't make "art", and I eat cupcakes but don't diet.

I'm a self-proclaimed pack rat, both of material things and the more intangible - thoughts, ideas, quotes, images; the latter is to to be stockpiled here.

You can also find me on Flickr, Good Reads, and my food/crafts blog (like an eclectic Martha Stewart).

I’m laughing about this…

So I tried out for the Medical Center’s newly formed Symphony Orchestra.  I played flute fairly regularly from 4th through 12th.  I slipped a little freshman year, practiced sporadically my sophomore year, and stopped spring semester.  I have played at most 5 times during the last 4 years, but somehow I beat out 15 other people for one of two spots in the flute section.  Woot.

I am telling myself that is is because the other people were probably pretty bad, and I am not trying to be self-deprecating.  I’m proud of myself, but how did that happen???

(And yes, that question did call for two extra question marks.)
